“When we got engaged,” said Lindsay, “we knew we wanted to get married somewhere close to where we grew up. I lived in Charleston for several years before moving to Boston and loved my time there. Will and I loved exploring the city and trying different restaurants. We knew that Charleston would be a perfect place for our family to come together. It’s a beautiful place and there is so much to do.” Once they had decided on a destination, the couple quickly selected The Mills House Hotel as the backdrop for the day’s festivities. “I fell in love with the courtyard and fountain at The Mills House. I also love the charm of the outside of the building,” remembers Lindsay.
Lindsay wore a beautiful fitted gown with a lace back that she paired with pink Kate Spade heels with a glittery heel for an added dose of glam. And for her something borrowed, she wore her grandmother’s watch. The couple shared a romantic first look in the courtyard of the hotel followed by portraits on one of Charleston’s historic cobblestone-d streets - Chalmers Street where Catherine Ann Photography was on hand to document their love.
