Kelly & Christopher's Total Solar Eclipse wedding at The Kaminski House Museum in Georgetown, South Carolina was one for the astronomy-loving books! The couple centered their special August afternoon around The Great American Eclipse to celebrate their love and the once-in-a-lifetime event with their friends and family. The couple first met at a young professional's social event in December of 2013 and quickly bonded on their shared love of the universe and Sci-Fi adventures like Dr. Who and Star Trek. Over the years, they shared countless memories watching the sunrise on the beach and searching for shooting stars. So, prior to proposing, Chris took a leap of faith and at the suggestion of the Kaminski House Museum's venue coordinator he booked the Myrtle Beach area wedding venue for the ultimate wedding/eclipse party before he had even popped the question! Kelly was equally as excited when she learned of the plans and couldn't pass up the opportunity to marry her best friend while celebrating an epic planetary moment. On the day of the wedding, moon-themed details were the name of the game starting with a life-size replica of the TARDIS from Dr. Who, followed by MoonPie and dark blue Tervis Tumblers with the phrase "Love Eclipses All" favors for all of their guests. After a heartfelt ceremony along the water in the Kathryn and David Kossove Garden, the couple and their guests, all well equipped with their eclipse glasses enjoyed the fleeting moments of totality together!
