We're kicking off Hump Day with a stunning Gibbes Museum wedding designed by the talented team at Mingle. The couple, Jennifer & Pieter, first met when their paths crossed while working in Charleston's hospitality industry. When it came time to select a wedding venue, they knew they wanted a spot that would showcase the city they fell in love in. They decided on the Gibbes Museum of Art which, at the time, was under a massive renovation but proved to be the perfect spot for their November celebration. Their first look took place in the French Quarter where Jennifer showed off her beautiful gown with a full ruffled skirt and beaded bodice. They exchanged vows in an evening ceremony in the renovated rotunda where their friends and family members looked on - hankies were on hand to pat away tears of joy. The night continued with an open-air reception in the courtyard where cafe lights and loads of candles created a soft glow. They designed a sweetheart table with not two, but four chairs so guests could stop by and spend a special a moment with the couple. Their chairs were marked with signs that said "Come By" and "Say Hi" and their guests gladly took them up on the offer. The party ended with a sparkler exit as the newlyweds hopped into a rickshaw and rode off into the Holy City. Thanks to Philip Casey Photography for documenting their Gibbes Museum wedding!
