You may remember last week when we featured a charming styled shoot from Carly is Inspired + Sea Star Arts Photography, and if I had to guess, you probably fell head-over-heels in love with it just like everyone else.  Not only were the design + vintage decor spot-on, but the photography was perfection and I have a feeling that you'd love to see more of the same.  Am I right?  Well, today, you're in luck, because were serving up another beauty from the Sea Star Arts Photography.  In a few short months, the adorable Sarah + Brent will be having a gorgeous Southern wedding of their own and we're so glad we get to share their precious engagement session.  Can't wait to see the big day!

Secret Tree House Wedding Inspiration by Sea Star Arts Photography + Carly is Inspired

Jeni, of Sea Star Arts Photography, recently sent over this adorable Spring Soiree created by a handful of Charleston wedding vendors who really know how to deliver that modern vintage charm we all go crazy for.   Carly is Inspired, Curiosity Vintage Rentals, & 428 Main handled the decor, while Dodeline Design designed the invitation suite and Twenty Six Divine created  the elegant cake.  Thanks to Carly is Inspired for sharing their inspiration...

From Carly is Isnpired: "The setting for our photo shoot in the quaint I’On neighborhood in Mount Pleasant, SC was a tree house tucked away amongst a path of lush green ferns overlooking a gorgeous lagoon. Childhood friends tying the knot in a place where they spent long summer days dreaming about their futures inspired us to create an intimate wedding filled with a combination of feminine and masculine details and modern vintage décor captured by Sea Star Arts Photography. An lace-inspired stationery suite from Dodeline Design kicked off our celebration, which had our couple spending the afternoon celebrating their nuptials by enjoying cake garnished with fresh blackberries and sipping on champagne. We imaged shared conversation at their table complete with vintage family silver pieces serving as centerpieces filled with gorgeous handmade DIY arrangements of flowers, and an antique mirror reflecting a ribbon ceiling installation for a touch of whimsy. Heirloom English china (Grandmother’s of course!) and linens completed our softer feminine look, while a vignette of rustic antlers, cigars, and a gramophone elicited a more masculine feel. We wanted to carry a classic, heirloom theme throughout the tree house to not only give additional nods to years gone by, but to inspire tradition, family, and the future, too."

Old Wide Awake Plantation Wedding by Sea Star Arts Photography

A few weeks ago, we shared Hillary + Phil’s Charleston engagement session from our lovely friend and A Lowcountry Wedding Vendor, Sea Star Arts Photography.  We were in love with the gorgeous scenery, romantic photography and adorable couple, so needless to say, we jumped for joy when we laid eyes on their wonderful Old Wide Awake Plantation wedding!  Bride Hillary is a DIY Bride’s best friend.  From the signage to the flowers and even the tables, her creativity oozes from every ounce of their charming Charleston affair.   To top things off, the fabulous crew from Coastal Crust joined the party to spoil everyone with their mouthwatering cuisine!

Charming Charleston Wedding Engagement from Sea Star Arts Photography

If you guys haven’t met the lovely Jeni Rone Becker of Sea Star Arts Photography, then I highly recommend setting up a guacamole-eating, margarita-drinking happy hour with her because it will be well worth every minute.  Not only is Jeni a genuinely awesome person, but one look at her Facebook page and you’ll be hooked.  She’s always on the move, enjoying, and capturing only like a talented photographer could, all the wonderful events and gorgeous details the Holy City has to offer.  So, it’s no shock that when we’re fortunate enough to share some of her work we get super excited.  What I love about Jeni (besides the laundry list I jotted down above!) is her ability to take make any backdrop or scenery strikingly beautiful.  Give her a camera and an adorable couple, and girlfriend will make magic happen, which is exactly the case for Hillary + Phil’s Charming Charleston Engagement!

Old Pitt Street Bridge Engagement {Christina + Ervin}

First thing’s first, I just have to take a minute to thank all of the wonderful Lowcountry wedding vendors who have recently submitted so many lovely real weddings.  I feel like we could have enough dreamy magazine content until 2014….it is seriously awesome and a wonderful problem to have.  So, as you can imagine, our inboxes are full, some may call it overflowing, so please excuse our delay in getting back to you!  We are slowly but surely trying to navigate our way through all the prettiness and we are still accepting submissions for our first online magazine until July 19^th!  Not only do we need real wedding submissions, we’re also on the lookout for adorable flower girls and ring bearers AND one-of-a-kind bouquets.  So keep ‘em coming! Interested in joining the ALW family, please contact Elizabeth atElizabeth@alowcountrywed.com for our media kit and additional information!  So, while we slave away behind the scenes, we thought we could leave you with some oh-so-pinnable images from this adorable Old Pitt Street Bridge engagement session from Charleston wedding photographer, Sea Star Arts Photography!  Christina + Ervin spent the afternoon enjoying the beautiful scenery in Mount Pleasant’s Old Village before finishing things off down by the beach!
