Rice Mill Building Wedding by Dana Cubbage Photography + Ooh! Events

We're excited to be back from the long holiday weekend so we can share a dose of coastal perfection from the talented Dana Cubbage Weddings.  You may remember awhile back when we had the pleasure of sharing Megan + Jay's Downtown Charleston engagement session.  It was gorgeous, so it won't be any surprise when you lay your eyes on their stunning Rice Mill wedding.  With a gorgeous pastel palette and a meaningful Lowcountry backdrop on the Ashley River, their day couldn't have been more perfect. Jay and Megan love to spend their spare time on the water, and Jay proposed to Megan while on a boating day trip last year, so it was only natural to incorporate the water and boats into their wedding day.   Ooh! Events designed elegant floral arrangements with a nautical navy accent, while A Charleston Event pulled the whole day together.  Fun lounge furniture created a laid back feel to the venue and the Coconut Groove Band kept the dance floor packed all night with a fun selection of island music + oldies. Jay + Megan drove away in a vintage teal 1962 Cadillac Deville from Lowcountry Valet & Shuttle.

Charleston Engagement {Katie + Brett} Dana Cubbage Weddings

To keep the party going, we're continuing our Southern wedding Sunday with the perfect Holy City engagement session from our friend, and talented Charleston wedding photographer, Dana Cubbage Weddings! From Dana: "Katie + Brett are getting married next March and we recently met for their downtown Charleston engagement session. They brought along their 7 year old French Bulldog named Sug, who was a total rockstar. Then we headed to the College of Charleston campus, where both Katie + Brett met and went to college. We ended the night at Cru Cafe, where they shared their first date over 10 years ago. I had a blast hanging out with them and can't wait for their wedding next spring!"

Day After Session {Erica + Nathan}

Y'all, these two are ca-ute! I just feel like a warning is in order before you get to scrollin'.   I'm not sure about you, but I can't stop staring at bride Erica's smile.  Talk about beaming!  The newlyweds spent the day after their Daniel Island wedding gallivanting  around the streets of the Holy City to cap off their magical weekend.  Thanks to fabulous Charleston wedding vendor, Dana Cubbage Wedding Photography, for capturing all of this happiness!

Downtown Charleston {Megan + Jay}

If you're anything like me, you've been hoping that the long, Labor Day Weekend would never end, but if we must get back to work, then we might as well get things started right with a classic Charleston wedding engagement session and a big helping of beautiful photography from Dana Cubbage Weddings!  The charming couple, Megan + Jay, met up with Dana one Spring evening for a casual stroll South of Broad that started at Battery Park.  With the Holy City as the backdrop, the combination of perfect lighting and timeless attire are sure to have Megan + Jay's guests anxiously awaiting their upcoming Lowcountry wedding!
