Guys, this navy wedding at The Island House is nothing short of amazing. And we can thank the bride herself for all of this fabulous inspiration. Kala is a wedding planner by trade and owner of MOD Events in Charleston, South Carolina, so needless to say, the girl knows a thing or two about design and she put her experience to the test for her March wedding. Kala and her bridesmaids spent the morning at The Mills House Hotel where Paper Dolls Wedding Hair & Makeup was on hand to provide their services. Her bridesmaid suited up in long navy dresses with necklines of their choosing while Kala dazzled in a beautiful gown with a lace bodice. She met Thomas for a sweet first look on the streets of the Holy City before joining their bridal party and JoPhoto for pictures along the cobblestone streets. They hopped aboard a trolley to make their way to Johns Island where they swapped vows at The Island House overlooking the Stono River. The reception took place under the tent where mahogany chairs surrounded crisp white table linens. Charleston Flower Market put their signature touch on the evening with lush, garden-style blooms (and those fantastic bouquets) but our favorite touch - that fabulous, cushy bed swing!
