Cara & Jon assumed the temperature would be steamy when they planned an outdoor wedding ceremony in Charleston in the middle of June, but as luck would have it, the day of the wedding they awoke to the perfect sunny Summer day with temps in the 80's and low humidity - Hallelujah! After a sweet first look outside the gates of the Thomas Bennett House, the couple were married in the garden where their closest friends and family members looked on. Cara stunned in a strapless lace gown by Essense Of Australia that she accessorized with strappy mint sandals and a king protea bouquet. Jon and his groomsmen were ever the Southern gentlemen in tan suits with navy bow ties. Inspired by their garden ceremony, Lizz Luckhart Designs designed a Summery reception with a soft color palette of blush, ivory and mint. Under the tent twinkly lights hung overhead while tables were covered with light white linens and a mint green napkin marked each place setting. Branch Design Studio turned up the pretty with textured centerpieces featuring peach Juliet garden roses, hydrangeas, astilbe and dusty miller.
