We're spending the afternoon inside to hammer away at the Summer issue but as a little treat for our favorite readers, we've got quite the gem to share with you. Laura + Andy married in October, in the heart of Downtown Charleston, at The Governor Thomas Bennett House. The team at The Burlap Elephant were on hand to create a magical outdoor wedding ceremony in the garden followed by an open-air reception. Ooh! Events created soft centerpieces of lush white blooms, blue thistle and green hydrangeas. Guests found their seats in bamboo chairs along long, estate-style tables. In the background stood a round tent from Sperry Tents which housed the dance floor. We love the cafe lighting that hung overhead, hand-lettered mirrors, bites from Salthouse Catering and a dessert bar with yummy pies from WildFlour Pastry! Thanks to amelia + dan photography for documenting their Lowcountry wedding day.
