Willie, a San Antonio native, and Rebecca, a Carolina girl, planned a destination wedding in the heart of Charleston in early April of 2016. To kick off the weekends festivities, they scheduled a Southwestern-inspired rehearsal dinner at the Confederate Home & College as good ol' fashioned fiesta. A pinata hung above the garden as vibrant blue, yellow and magenta linens topped the tables. Willie and his groomsmen wore Mexican wedding shirts each customized with their initials on their pockets, while Rebecca donned her mother's wedding dress which she had altered into a more modern design. Guests arrived to the sounds of a festive trio as they enjoyed a Latin-themed menu from Cru Catering of paella, tacos and, of course, tequila. The night ended as guests took a crack at the pinata and celebrated as the contents came crashing down! Thanks to Captured by Kate Photography for documenting all the details.
