We know it's raining, but we thought we might just slap a smile on your face with this gorgeous Beaufort wedding engagement in the heart of the Lowcountry. Bride Andrea had always hoped to have her bridal portraits taken at Old Sheldon Church Ruins in Yemassee. So, when the opportunity presented itself, she grabbed her faithful photographer, Holly Graciano and headed down for a lovely coastal day. Andrea had fallen in love with the picturesque backdrop the Ruins provided - deep rooted history, southern charm, and trees laden with Spanish moss. After enjoying the landscape, the crew headed over to Waterfront Park finish off the day!

We always love sharing a Hilton Head wedding, particularly when a crazy talented group of vendors are involved. This beauty took place this past May at a private residence in Bluffton, South Carolina and offered up one heck of a backdrop for a beautiful Lowcountry evening. Bride Katie stunned in a strapless gown while her bridesmaids rocked deep purple dresses. Katie's bouquet was a mix of hydrangeas and roses in varying shades of purple mixed with a few lovely calla lilies. The team at Weddings with Leah was on hand to bring their fairytale to life while JLK Events handled the lighting. Downtown Catering treated their guests to an evening of Lowcountry cuisine while Lowcountry Boil Band kept them on their feet. This beauty kicked off with a traditional ceremony at quite frankly one of the prettiest coastal churches I've ever seen, The Church of the Cross in Bluffton. After saying their 'I do's', they continued the celebration with a beautiful Oldfield Club wedding in Okatie, South Carolina. Guests were treated to an evening of Southern cuisine before they hit the dance floor...and they hit it hard! Thanks to Amy-Marie Kay Photography capturing the amazing, and lively, celebration!

I have to say, I couldn't be more excited about this week's ALW line-up. We've got one stunning Lowcountry wedding after another, a charming Downtown Charleston bridal session and even an Isle of Palms bachelorette party that will probably have you running for the nearest bottle of champagne just so you can join in on the fun! But to kick-start what's sure to be a very pin-able week over here, we're heading down to Hilton Head for Ashley + Phil easy-going, beach affair planned by Weddings with Leah. This cute couple tied the knot in a low-key, ocean side ceremony in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends before making their way back to the beach house to celebrate the night away! My favorite part...all of the wonderful pop-up stationery that the bride and groom designed themselves. Genius! Thanks to amelia + dan photography for capturing this beauty.

Charleston Engagement {William + Ashley}
William + Ashley combined a handful of my favorite things for their vintage-inspired engagement session from one uber-talented Charleston wedding vendor, Collette Mruk Photography! Let's see...an adorable polka dot skirt, William's suspenders, sassy red heels and an antique car. How can you not love every minute!?! Oh, and how could I forget. I'm head-over-heels for Ashley's perfect 'do!

South Carolina Engagement {Tiffany + Jake}
Tiffany told me her photographer was insanely talented. Actually, if I remember correctly, she said ‘Homegirl is AMAZING’…and after you check this out I'm positive you'll be thinking the same thing. Elle Olivia Photography is any girl’s dream photographer. She captures timeless images that will make you weak-in-the-knees! She met up with Tiffany + Jake at Congaree National Park, one of the couple’s most treasured places, where they soaked up that gorgeous natural night. For any gal that’s in the midst of planning her engagement session attire, I’d take some nots from Tiffany. Her chic, classic selections perfectly complement her style and that wonderful setting. After a quick wardrobe change, they headed to one of Tiffany’s favorite spots, the Columbia Antique Mall, to cap off the evening. It was the Antique Mall that made Tiffany realize if Jake was willing to sacrifice countless weekends to support her antiquing habit then he must be a keeper! We can’t wait to see these two tie the knot this coming April! Thanks for sharing!

Quickly after their instantaneous connection, the couple realized it was the real deal and after a short courtship, Kirk popped the question! If you asked me the best time of the year to get married in Charleston I would say, hands down, October is the month to shoot for. Granted, January's been pretty fab this year! By that time of the year, it's usually cooled off a bit and you're likely to find yourself with a gorgeous 70 degree, Lowcountry evening. Schayla + TJ choose the picturesque Pepper Plantation out in Awendaw to host their dreamy, Fall nuptials, and luckily for us, Charleston wedding vendor, CM Photography, was on hand to capture all the gorgeous details!

The beautiful Bride, Amie, rocked a breathtaking, lace gown with a seriously. flattering back and bold, emerald earrings. The gals looked fabulous in classic, green frocks that were complimented by fresh, white hydrangea bouquets. After a romantic outdoor ceremony, the lively couple and their guests celebrated the night away in a stunning, tented reception complete with Lowcountry cuisine from Southern Graces.
