As you all know, it's Tuesday, which means it's detail day around here...and today, it's all about boutonnieres! While the rules are flexible, most couples tend to accessorize any important person that is not part of the bridal party which a big, beautiful bout. Normally, this tends to include parents, grandparents, ushers and readers. While most leading ladies tend to stress over the style and look of the flowers they will carry down the aisle, few give much thought as to what their husband-to-be will be sporting. Our best advice is to let the your personal style, location and season lead the way and don't be scared to utilize non-floral materials such as feathers, cotton, fabric and even buttons. I've been soaking up loads of wedding inspiration today and thought who better to share the fruits of my labor with then my favorite Lowcountry brides and I have a sneaky suspicion you won't be disappointed. While I'll always love a gorgeous Fall or Winter wedding, truth be told, I'm more of a Spring/Summer gal...and I think it has a lot to do with the seasonal blooms.
