Happy Southern Wedding Sunday to our favorite ladies! We're getting March started with a beautiful Magnolia Plantation Carriage House wedding from the talented crew at Richard Bell Photography. Samantha + Max adroned the Carriage House in a preppy color palette of blue, yellow and white, while Cupcake treated guests to some tasty treats!
From the bride: "Like many couples, we wanted our wedding day to really reflect who we are, while also remaining fairly traditional and staying on a tight budget. We selected Magnolia Plantation's Carriage House for the beautiful venue that it provides and we wanted our southern roots to shine. One of our close friends is officiating our ceremony under the beautiful hundred year old oaks draped with softly lit lanterns. We added touches of lace and burlap to keep with the theme of rustic southern charm. Duvall Events continued our theme by providing low country cuisine, including Charleston's famous shrimp and grits and Palmetto Brewery beer. Everything from our monogrammed mason jars to the fresh daisy center pieces really pulled our event together to make for a classic southern wedding."

Legare Waring House Wedding {Brianna + Avery}
Bride-to-be Brianna enlisted the help of MOD Events to design an elegant but slightly non-traditional Charleston wedding, which was evident in her chic, blush gown and black engagement ring. Her bridesmaids donned white BCBG dresses and the groomsmen were in black, as Brianna and her husband-to-be, Avery, said their vows before the dreamy Avenue of Oaks at the historic Legare-Waring House. After their romantic ceremony, the couple partied into the night at a reception punctuated by vibrant flower arrangements from Branch Design Studio, delicious food by Royal Grand Events, and a great dance party! Creek Club at I'On Wedding {Virginia + Jonathan}
Coming off a dreary weekend in the Lowcountry, I figured we all could use a little Charleston wedding pick-me-up, eh? This beautiful Creek Club at I’On wedding comes to us straight from ALW Bride Virginia, and it is filled to the brim with lovely DIY details. The adorable couple tied the knot in an intimate, outdoor ceremony under the trees. Virginia stunned in a strapless gown and hand-painted TOMS, while her maids rocked blush-toned dresses and cowboy boots! Virginia + Jonathan enlisted the services of Carter’s Kitchen to treat their guests to a delicious menu of upscale Southern cuisine, while the crew at Cupcake presented their sugary creations.
