I'm not much of a winter girl - never have been, never will be. I'm not a fan of the cold weather or icy conditions and would much prefer to have a Summer beach day with my toes in the sand. So when my warm-weather-loving heart saw this laidback Hilton Head beach bash, I knew it was the perfect cure for my winter blues. So, today were heading South for this Lowcountry affair with a lovely oceanside ceremony from our friend and ALW wedding vendor, Priscilla Thomas Photography. Elizabeth and Jeremy had a romantic comedy-esque first meeting. Liz thought she was going out for a quiet night of Mexican cuisine followed by viewing a Christmas lights show. But having some margaritas put her in a dancing mood. Her friends and she walk into a bar where she spots a dancing fiend singing into a beer bottle surrounded by ladies. Somehow they find themselves dancing with each other most of the night. That first night of dance floor bliss led to a brief long distance relationship (11 months in Liz packed her bags for Ohio) and over four years later they sealed the deal on the beach in their Hilton Head Island wedding.

This romantic beach affair was designed with light ethereal colors of blush and champagne accented with navy blue. As guests arrived on the beach, they were greeted with a musician playing acoustic guitar and were served a fruity punch to sip on during the ceremony. After exchanging vows, Liz and Jeremy tied a fisherman's knot for their unity ritual. The reception took place in a banquet room at The Beach House where guests could mingle indoors or on the patio. The couple of course hit the dance floor before joining in the rest of the festivities.
