From the planner: “At Carter’s Event Co. we value the ideals of beauty and love, in their purest and most raw forms. To communicate those values, every event we create is uniquely inspired and designed with the couple’s love story in mind, and this styled shoot was no exception. Troy and Siraya’s relationship encapsulates every ideal that Carter’s Event Co. believes in - the kind of love story that wedding planners dream of sharing.
In this shoot, our goal was to capture and communicate the way strength and tenderness work together in a romantic relationship. To do this, we used industrial, modern elements as representatives of the strength of Troy and Siraya’s relationship, and also added touches of poetic, romantic pieces to capture the more delicate aspects. EventWorks’ ghost chairs were the perfect modern complement to the industrial concrete fireplace for the ceremony. The romantic and poetic elements provided by Rosebay Floral Co.(mantle arrangement and bridal bouquet) and Everything Events (candles and other decor) helped create the exact feel we were looking for.
While the whole shoot turned out so beautifully, one of my favorite parts of the day was Siraya’s bridal look. The gown from Gown Boutique of Charleston was the perfect combination of modern simplicity and delicate elegance and was complimented so well by Contours and Curls makeup that enhanced Siraya’s obvious natural beauty.“
