LEAH & JUSTIN
A Charleston Tea Plantation wedding
Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina
From the photographer: “Leah and Justin have been high school sweethearts who have grown up together and known each other for years. Growing up in Charleston, they knew they wanted a traditional southern wedding, and chose a the picturesque backdrop of the Charleston Tea Plantation for their venue. Pathways lined with trees, trolley rides for the guests, and a mossy oak tree dripping in golden sunlight where the two were married made their wedding the perfect Charleston summer day. And after weeks of rain, not a single drop fell on them as they tied the knot! Their adorable son Jackson served as ring bearer by being pulled down the aisle in a John Deer wagon and he watched on as they danced to Train's "Marry Me," promptly attacking them with a bubble gun when they were done. Traditional southern food such as ham biscuits and shrimp and grits kept guests fed during the beautiful outdoor reception lit up by twinkle lights and accented with beautiful blush colored details.”
