Legare Waring House wedding in Charleston, SC by ELM Events

After a long work week, we thought you might enjoy this dreamy plantation wedding in Charleston, SC planned by the talented team of ELM Events. The sweet couple, Bailey + Ryan, who met while Bailey was interning in NYC, selected Halloween weekend to host the ultimate destination wedding at The Legare Waring House. Not a single guest was from the state of South Carolina but that didn't stop them from enjoying everything the Lowcountry had to offer...especially the food. When it came time to design the late Fall wedding, Bailey worked with Lauren Miller of ELM Events to design a charming, outdoor celebration with rustic details, plenty of chandeliers and a soft, Spring-inspired color palette. For invitations, Bailey put her creativity to work and whipped up a darling suite featuring sweet blooms and hand-lettered envelopes. Her ten bridesmaids wore long, flowing Jenny Yoo dresses in a muted color palette while she wore a Sarah Seven gown. As guests arrived for the ceremony, they were served peach bellinis to enjoy while the couple tied the knot under an ancient oak tree. The reception took place under the Avenue of Oaks where Bailey's wedding dreams came true. Branch Design Studio created effortless centerpieces to grace the tabletops that were overflowing with peach amaryllis, pink peonies, astilbe, roses and dusty miller while large chandeliers lit the sky.
