Upstairs at Midtown is in the heart of Downtown Charleston, South Carolina and is the perfect venue for intimate weddings. The mix of exposed bricks, restored wood and natural light offered Aubrey + Wade a beautiful backdrop just above King Street. The couple, who met thanks to Aubrey's astute aunt, kept the guest list small inviting only their nearest and dearest. Aubrey glowed in a fitted, lace Stella York gown as she walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of roses. The couple exchanged vows in front of a 250 year old fireplace (how cool!) and then joined Shannon of Riverland Studios for a stroll by Rainbow Row. At the reception, guests enjoyed the pretty September weather beneath the string lights as they dined on tasty bites from Maybank Catering. Before the evening came to a close, guests received an RC Cola and Moon Pie - the ultimate Southern favor! As the couple waved goodbye, they hopped into a vintage blue and white Chevy truck and rode off into newlywed-ed bliss!
