We can't think of a better way to wrap up March than with sweet Brooke's bridal portraits at Oldfield Plantation Club (just outside of Bluffton, South Carolina) from Landon Jacob. Designed + coordinated by the talented Haley Kelly of A Charleston Bride, Brooke's portraits are a combination of everything we love so dearly - an effortlessly beautiful bride, the perfect Lowcountry venue and images so beautiful we might spend our entire day pinning them! Brooke took our breath away as she donned a dreamy Jenny Packham gown from White on Daniel Island that she paired with a mix of accessories including a long, flowing veil and draped headpiece. Her bouquet, from Stephanie Gibbs Events, is a peony explosion that we could stare at all day. With bold coral charm peonies that flowed into soft pink blooms and finished with pillowy white flowers, the entire arrangement was accented with fragrant, silver dollar eucalyptus. From Brooke: "From the moment I got engaged, my mom knew that I would wear a Jenny Packham dress. I was open to any designer and loved Packham's designs, but I wasn't sure they would be the right fit for me. My mom booked three bridal appointments in Charleston for a weekend in June. After having two bridal appointments in one day, I was very confused about what I wanted. We woke up the next morning with our appointment at White on Daniel Island and my mom exclaimed, "we are finding the dress today!"(White carried Jenny Packham, of course). I wasn't so sure that we would... Once we arrived, I began trying on dresses, saving the Jenny Packham's for last. The second one of her's that I tried on, I came out of the dressing room and my mom looked at me with such confidence and affirmed, "that's it". I began crying immediately and then, saw myself in the mirror and cried some more! Just proves that mom's are always right! Later in the summer, my mom and I were in Paris and visited one of Packham's flagship stores. I purchased my earrings there and my mom found her mother of the bride gown. I couldn't believe that we would both be wearing the same designer on my wedding day! We were giddy with happiness and celebrated with some macaroons! Shopping with my mom has always held some of my favorite memories, but these two experiences top them all!"
