Savannah, Georgia wedding inspiration at The Wyld Dock Bar by The Happy Bloom

The Wyld Dock Bar in Savannah, Georgia is our kind of place. The waterfront eatery/event space allows restaurant go-ers and their pups to arrive by boat to enjoy the Lowcountry scenery and seafood-inspired menu (oh, and the slushies - the slushies are so good!). It's cozy atmosphere was the perfect spot for a charming collaboration between the creative team at Ivory & Beau and the talented husband + wife duo that make up The Happy Bloom. They dreamed up an afternoon with masculine tones, leather details and rustic touches all centered around the idea of "home". The bride wore a dainty Sarah Seven dress, effortless leather jacket and a cool pair of boots while her dapper groom sported a grey jacket, checkered tie and anemone boutonniere as they posed for pictures with their adorable pooch (who even had his own menu!). The table was set with a faux leather runner pinned with the lyrics from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' song "Home", oyster shells and white candles. Overhead hung a stunning floral chandelier dripping with tulips, garden roses and fresh greenery to complete the outdoor vibe. They departed in the way we all envision, on the back of a vintage El Dorado complete with a "Just Married" sign. Heaven! DIY Aspect: "Faux leather everything! Why settle for average cornhole bean bags when you can wrap them in faux leather to give them that masculine color you’re looking for! Luckily, the bag is already sealed. Merely wrap the bean bag with two pieces of pre-cut faux leather and thread! Add some sweet calligraphy and you have a heated competition between the bridesmaids and groomsmen!"
