ONE - Gather you supplies. To prepare the bouquet for transport select your ribbon to finish the bouquet. Tie it. And, give the flower one last trim before their debut. If the delivery is the day of the event the bouquet will be fine without a water source. In fact, it will help the blooms open up for a natural, organic look.

TWO - Use the knife to cut an X in the box. It's helpful to push in one side (looks like a triangle), but not necessary. We did here to show you what we mean. Cut as many X's as needed to hold the bridesmaids and bridal bouquets and centerpieces. The only tip is to make sure the X's are far enough apart the blooms from each arrangement won't touch one another. It's simple!

THREE - Delicately push the bouquet into the box. A vase can be used if you do this ahead of time. However, for a day-of delivery you can simply put the bouquet in the box without a water source. Vases fit snugly in the X, too.

FOUR - Love on your flowers and tell them to have the best day! We suggest celebrating with a glass of wine, of course. Get ready, it's wedding day!

Note: In the case, you hired a professional to make your bouquet this is a trick that is easy on the wallet. It is easy and saves the expense of a professional florist delivery. Plus, it's always sweet to have a family member deliver something so special.

The doors of Colonial House of Flowers opened in 1968. We've been making deliveries ever since! We love nothing more than helping brides and families and friends create and deliver their own flowers.
