From Sloan: "Jason and I had already known each other because he and my sister Elizabeth were friends growing up. We began hanging out in Myrtle Beach a lot a few summers ago as friends and sparks flew! ;) He proposed in Myrtle Beach on the beach June 24th 2015. He got his nephew Alston to write the proposal in the sand with a heart. So Alston and our parents hid behind the lifeguard shack as it all happened. After we walked up to the writing in the sand he proposed and then our family popped out! I was glad they were there to witness it! :) We always knew we wanted to do something different for our wedding and we wanted to make sure all our guests would have a fun experience as well. I've always dreamed of Charleston, SC as the place I would get married but I didn't want the typical plantation venue. So my parents fell upon the Carolina Girl Website and Jason and I were hooked on the Idea. We cant wait to cruise down the Ashley River and celebrate with our closest family and friends!"
