Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding in Charleston, SC by Elizabeth Duncan Events, Dana Cubbage Weddings, Wildflowers Inc., Augusta Jones

Katie + Kyle live in the great state of Colorado but made the trek to Charleston, South Carolina for one heckuva a destination celebration. The couple picked a warm July date at Lowndes Grove Plantation where they enlisted the help of Elizabeth Duncan Events to masterfully design the perfect Summer soiree! Katie stunned (and boy, do I mean stunned!) in an Augusta Jones gown, gold Jack Rogers and a dreamy up-do from Ash and Co. Bridal Hair and Makeup. Her bridesmaids wore peach Donna Morgan dresses and carried amaryllis-infused bouquets from Wildflowers Inc. The duo swapped vows in a traditional ceremony at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in front of their closest friends and family members. Post-ceremony, the couple scooped up their bridal party for a quick boat ride to their Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding reception courtesy of Captain Robert Meeker of Classic Boat Charleston. Elizabeth Duncan Events created a laid-back reception with a color palette of peach, grey and white, comfy lounge furniture and beautiful centerpieces. Kyle's groomsmen surprised the couple with a choreographed dance to N'Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye", which I can only imagine was one of the highlights of the evening!
