The Restoration on King - Spring Wedding Soiree in Charleston, South Carolina by Andrew Cebulka

By now, we're sure you've heard the buzz about one of Charleston's hottest new hotels - The Restoration King. The property is comprised of five buildings, all of which have been immaculately updated, to showcase The Holy City's vibrant past and celebrate its modern and relaxed style. For the Soiree, we made our way to the three-bedroom Residential Rooftop Suite where we entered into the open floor plan kitchen which boasted exposed brick, two-story windows and beautiful wood floors. Here, Ooh! Events added chic centerpieces and lanterns to the enviable decor as guest enjoyed handcrafted cocktails, local goods from The Port Mercantile, sweets from Sugar Bakeshop and my favorite cookies ever from Grey Ghost Bakery. We continued the tour throughout the cozy and spacious bedrooms before making our way to the roof top terrace - which was pure heaven. Not only did we enjoy the copper chairs (how great are those?!) from Ooh! Events but you can't beat the view of Downtown Charleston. After a wonderful night, we decided one thing is for sure, The Restoration on King is the perfect place to host your bridesmaids the night before your wedding. With space enough for everyone, a luxe pool, kitchen and on-site spa and nail bar, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips just steps away from King Street.
