There’s talk the Lowcountry might see a light dusting of snow this weekend and while this Southern girl loves a good snow day just like the rest of us, it really has me pining for warm beach weather and for some sunny day blooms, and we’re in luck, because that’s just what we’ll get with Chris + Sarah’s Pelican Watch Shelter wedding on Folly Beach. The couple, who met while vacationing on a Carnival Cruise ship in Ochos Rios, wanted a laid back and festive venue for their May wedding day and Folly Beach was the perfect spot. With the help of A Southern Ceremony and Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design, Sarah brought her vision of beach glam to life with an ethereal color palette of blush, coral, ivory and gold. Large pink peonies and blush roses gave the rustic family tables a romantic touch. After a lovely ceremony on the beach, a celebration ensued at the Pelican Watch Shelter where Jubilee Catering served up Lowcountry treats and guests sipped on refreshing cocktails. Special thanks to Priscilla Thomas Photography for sharing their Folly Beach wedding at the Pelican Watch Shelter!
